I just upgraded to build 121. It seems the tags in the text over lay are not being interpreted. tags are just showing as text
Hi,
I had an issue with the webcam text overlay as well after updating to the latest build, however this was rectified by restarting the webcamcaptue component.

I did that several times. Never worked. Also found the webamcapture was randomly shutting down.
I went back to build 120
HI,
Yeah, it rectified it for a bit, but the issue is there again. Attached prints show the issue a before and an after.
Also gone back to build 120, and overlay is OK

there is a new version of the wdwebcamcapture
it works OK for me with the custom tags
so not sure its not for others
I will need a copy of settings files to test here
Hi Brian,
I have sent my wdisplay.ini file to you. Assume that is the file you need to test with

Hi Brian’‘’
Updated to 122 today
Same issue here…sluggish and no text overlay at all…also…animated gifs not working on main screen anymore,
Running prev ver 10.05 webcamcapture.exe now until resolved
re the time alignment issue re Trevp
try this update
https://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/wdwebcamcapture.zip
and then change the width setting from 10 (too small) to say 100
and click on set then save
in the overlay tab
That did not seem to help with me
if you could email me your settings files and I will check/test
Not working for me either
Thanks Brian. This now is working with build 121.
I had to make a couple of tweaks, and attached is a document with my observations and what I had to change, to get my overlay back to near to where they were originally.

it should be working for @blainec too now the latest update
its been a long time coming making the plunge to get the wdwebcamcapture.exe updated…thanks guys for helping me
I think I have it working now. Will have to see if it shuts down again
Hi Brian,
It appears that I do still have issues with build 122 and webcamcapture v10.35.
I will have to do a bit of testing, but issues seem to be around some of the webcamcapture settings not being saved, and that webcamcapture stops running after a while. This was noticed as i use the latest webcam image to be the ‘icon’ on WD and this stops updating and the image i use on my hourly twitter update sent by WD had also stopped updating.
I will update later

Same issues here
I have gone back to version build 120 which uses webcamcapture v10.05. The issue with v10.35 seems to be that it wasn’t saving new images, hence the first image saved after initial start up, was being used thereafter, ie for the twitter image upload and the main screen icon image

I also went back to 120 for now
re the image not being saved
what shows in the program in the left hand pane…where it mentions saving…
re the animated gifs not working in the latest WD version
that was a problem with the updated compiler
and so I have fixed that in the latest WD version
Hi Brian,
Attached is a document with the the text in the left hand panel and my observations with WD build 123 - Webcamcapture 10.36
