I reverted back to previous webcam capture as I was unable to get custom tags to behave properly. file was saving ok though
Also…old problem for me…minor …but when I turn off icons for summary image, it does not work…icon image stays put…no big deal…but Ill take your thoughts if any…

Looks the same as mine except I save a gif as well. I have reverted back to 10.05 wcc.exe until Brian resolves issue. Before I upgraded to wd 122 now 123 I saved the old wcc 10.05 by itself. Glad I did…and just replaced the new wcc with the old one…see link

i notice you do not have ticked to save as temporary file (safe mode)

but it might be something different you are doing…screen shots?
its the setting to show web cam image instead, show on main
WD assumes that its also wanting to be shown on the summary image
I could either make sure that is honoured by the show no icons on summary image or add new setting…not on summary image…in the web cam as icon setup
That would be nice,I still want webcam on main screen as icon (24 hrs)…but its too busy for my summary image…Thanks and sorry this thread kinda got sidetracked…Ive reverted back to wcc version 10.05 for now btw
re the latest wdwebcamcapture.exe, did you try ticking to use safe mode in the file save?
Mine was saving ok, but custom tags not working at all in either input box on file overlay tab. neither was font select size and color …width and positions were working but the enable tick boxes had no effect either…10.05 is working just fine for me at the moment.
i will do some more testing/checking

Same here.
One thing I did notice is that the new version does not pickup the setting that were set in 10.05.(overlay tags and text). When I add new ones, the tags just show as plain text

if you could email me your settings files again and I will see if I can fix
(i.e I am showing the unconverted custom tag instead of the converted tag)
