During day all icons works OK. But at time of sunset icon is correct but remain ALWAYS. Does not change in “night time” like previous versions on WD. Same thing is for Sunrise icon, It stays on main screen always.
Back to 10.19a, all works fine.
another thing.
If I double click on icon of main screen, i read two pictures. 1 - Night time , 2- Sunset icon. when i close window on main screen is only sunset.
In 10.19a i have night time icon and moon icon double clicking on icon of main screen.
using 10.19j also - sunset icon was displayed for about 90 minutes until the night time icon appeared. Is 90 minutes a bit too long for a sunset?
also noticed in my banner below the “current” icon (forecasticon.gif) remained a daytime partly cloudy icon throught out the sunset even at 6pm when it had been dark for an hour already.

the sunset icon should stay for only 30 minutes either side of sunset
in the summary image and icon setup, you can turn off to have the sun set icon on the main screen
i will do some more testing/investigating/fine tuning
Oh thanks goodness someone posted about this. I too noticed the problem this morning before and during sunrise. Very stange what was happening with the sunrise image. Seemed like it was showing on the display way before sunrise and wasn’t even showing on the summary image. Eventually it showed up on the summary image. I went back to bed and when I awoke after sunrise it was working normally. I’ll check back later today and tonight to see how things are going. If needed, I am going to set my alarm for 4am and watch and write down all I see in great detail and post to this topic tomorrow.

now I can add a user selectable minutes before and after sunrise/set to show it
mentioned in another thread - using 10.19k - at sunset there is no icon on the main screen at all even if you untick the box to show sunrise/sunset
try a fresh 10.19k download…i did make a change there
but i will do some more testing

I had the same with 10.19k last might - then when I tried to restart WD I had multiple access violations and had to do a hard reboot (using win98).

Currently sunset time here in Long Island, New York. I just came home to find my main display conditions image was blank. Not only was it blank, but when I touched the window to pop up the meter and summary image, nothing happened. it’s like it was jammed. I checked the forum and saw the new post about version 10.19L and quicly downloaded the version. Now the main screen conditions window is working again but it’s showing the sunset again and I have it ticked not to show in the summary image setup screen. Also it is showing on the screenshot.

i can now set that, now that i have the routine working OK to know when its 30 minute before or 30 minutes after sun or set (i.e you will be able to change that time period

The nighttime icons did seem to swicth on about 10 minutes early so that idea sounds good to me too.
