I concur with NorCal Dan, its displaying the records, but mine is for tomorrow (Tuesday’s records) and not for today. This should be a quick fix.

@tbrasel: I looked at the NWS Page for Dan’s parameters and I don’t see it showing values for “Today”, only Tomorrow. Maybe you could check your NWS page too?

Perhaps the values could be scraped from this page instead. This is the page I refer to when I want check official stats. It’s stable and doesn’t change based on time of day.

Update - today worked perfectly once the record was for only one year
FYI - I’m getting data but as luck would have it the high temperature was 92 on this day in both 1943 and 1907. Its messing up my minimum temp and year as its saying 1950 @ 59 degrees. It should be 1931 @ 44 degrees. We will see what tomorrow shows.

It happened again that the hi temperature is recorded on 2 separate years and it messes up low temp record as well as the norm temp. Is there any plan to scrub the second date if there is more than one year with the same recorded temp? My avg temp for today is stating 1964 degrees on my site. Seems warm 8)

Under weatherunderground almanac I have the checkbox enabled with WFO as BOX and the SID as ORH It works perfectly unless there is a record tied for 2 separate years.
You can see in the attached pic the record max temp being the same for 2 different years is messing up the fielding. I’m sure it happens also for the minimum temp but haven’t noticed it yet.
below are the values in my testtag.php that are wrong because of the tied record years:
