try the skip minutes option
Tried that before and nothing got saved , will have another go at it.
I have a funny weather grimmlin, WD is a bit temperamental at the moment. Possibly my fault, that time of the month I guess.
Thanks Windy.
H.
It looks like the videolastday.wmv is not yesterday, but is a video of today so far.
http://www.cavecountryweather.com/yesterday.php
This is what videolastday is, its today so far.
Your either wanting yesterday.wma or .mpg or whatever extension your using for the yesterday video
yes, there is an option to also create the yesterday video, created and uploaded after 10pm, and even a date stamped version of that (still to be tested with this new version (I hit the sack before then last nite!)
Hi
Need help.
My videolastday.wmv is corectly created but the file is not upload on my website.
Here my setup.
Thanks
tick, upload the files to my web site
(which I posted in a reply on your other thread)
Date stamped works fine with the new version Windy i just checked
she’s all go then
thanks for the help with testing guys, much appreciated
Well I have not changed my web page and videolastday.wmv had played yesterdays video for the past 6 months. I will probably change to the swf format because the windows player is temperamental in FF and I can not get it to validate.
Thats very strange cause its always been “the movie so far for today” for me anyway
This is your yesterday.wmv Cave Country Weather
Very strange indeed :-k At least to fix it is an easy change.
Here is the unchanged code taken from “view page source”:

Hi Brian,
i’ve just installed the new version of moviemaker…i’ll wait tomorrow to see if it works better.
Thanks for your great news,
Alessandro
Just downloaded the latest wdisplay32.exe with the new version of moviemaker. Its been running for about 18 hours now, Great Job…
In the older version, after creating the tensecondvideo.wmv file the ######jpegcamtenseconds.jpg files were deleted.
As of now with the newer version of the moviemaker, there are 2,147 files consuming 218 MB in my alldayvideotenseconds directory and growing. #-o
those files should be still be being deleted , from the hour previous
yes?
Hi Brian,
My moviemaker.exe remains in the taskbar because it has a problem during the process.
Probably codec problem.
Look at the attachment about this.
Thanks for your help,
Alessandro
that dll file is included with the latest version of WD and it was included with the .zip file link on this thread
keep following this tread and with latest version up and running with W2k and V37p b15
thnx Brian for the good work !!
still uploading the wmv file; had some problems playing the mp4 file ? :? ?, but
this version II is very fast ! didn’t notice it was creating the file; normally the screen is flashing a while with the old moviemaker.
quality mp4 and wmv about the same = good (is that correct?)
Hi Brian
I have been following this thread and last night I installed latest full WD version (build 16) and I can confirm its working perfect on my
Windows 7 64-bit OS.
Thank you very much for all the great work - you are a star!
Best regards,
Henrik
Ps. which settings do you recommend for “Frame rate” and “Bit rate” ? My webcam produces jpg file in 352x288 pixels.
Ok, just checked this morning. It is down to a reasonable number now (413 files, 24.9 MB).
Those must have been left over after the last tensecondvideo.wmv was made for the day as I checked it right after I got home from work around 11:30 pm or so last night.
I have a batch file that runs nightly at 2 am to clean-up extra files in some directories before a scheduled nightly backup occurs at 3 am.
