well I can’t say the same unfortunately…I am having wind spikes…I have a spike of 60mph around 1 hour ago…Everything else is ok but the wind is spiking…I’ll let you know if I get any other spikes…
Oh there is another spike of the barometer…Had a drop to 28.36 inches…that’s practically hurricane type pressure and we are having no hurricanes here…

The Anemometer has an own temperature sensor for wind chill measurement.
yes, i see that there is windchill in the data, but WD calculates the windchill reading from the current windspeed and temperature

Hi Brian,
I noticed that everything was running fairly well till today as WD is not downloading the correct info from the unit. My unit currently has a temp of 76.4 displayed however WD is saying that it is 75.4. Same thing for my indoor temp as it has it at 81 which is fairly warm but my unit says 78. Any help you can give would be great. Thanks
BTW I also wanted to point out that the barometer is also giving me either old data or just flat out incorrect data. It has been at the same wind, barometer, and indoor and outdoor temperature now for 15 minutes so I know something is not right. I restarted my computer and everything else as well. I started weather capture just now and it immediately pulled up the correct info.
i check the barometer reading that arrives, compared to the last good one…
but because the barometer only updates every 20 minutes, you could get quite a big jump/change, and it could go past the threashold i set
but restarting wd and you should get up to date data again (may take a minute)
what is your current barometer reading?
Still not working, it did work once, this am it will not read from the station or the record. I have rerun the setup and have tried the records and then direct. the ini file is not protected. I have tried all that you have ask. AT this point I am not sure what to try.

wdisplay.ini from where you have WD installed
and wdisplayftp.reg, after going action, back up registry entry now (zip the files before emailing me them)
ps, after unticking to use direct, then restart WD
Your current temperature should be different to the temperature in Anemometer. How can you get the correct (exactly temperature value) in wind sensor?
i dont think it actualy has a temperature sensor in the anenometer

Been out of the country for a while and was more than delighted to see direct support in WD when I got back home. Unfortunately I can’t get any data from my weather station into WD. Have ticked off that direct support in setup but it doesn’t seem to work - any ideas??

do you know if its a version 1 or 2/3 firmware?
i.e how old is the station?
at the moment the way i have the direct support working, it will only work with version 2 or later firmware
but, i will make it where you can view the actual raw data, so we can at least see what is coming in
i will do that tomorrow
Ok, now I can see the data ticking in…the data counter in WD is updating every minute and the data quality light is green. It seems like the first dataset is written in WD and then the data are not updating any more.
I bought the station a few weeks ago so - is there a way to check the firmware version?

try, after ticking the direct method, then restarting wd?
you should see the data start to appear on the graph…might take a couple of minutes, that all, to start logging…
( i have just done a quick test and the data is being logged Ok on the graph for me)

Yep - have tried to restart WD. The graph is “updating” but the data are not updating i.e they are the same all the time. The same goes for the values to the left in WD.
