X (close button) new result

I habitually click the X (close button) when I’m done working on a program. So I have inadvertently completely exited Weather Display not realizing that what I’ve done!

Could clicking the X pop up a dialogue like the one used in Word and Excel asking “do you want to Save and close, or Cancel”.

I tried the “exit password” function but when I click the X I am NOT asked for the password and Weather Display doesn’t close. This would be OK except that my computer does a restart every night and the restart won’t work with the password set.

You should always close WD by choosing Exit (top left) > Save and Exit

closing any program via the X top right hand corner I would suggest it not a good idea due to possible corruption of settings and data
always best to use the provided exit menu
