Wxsimate error

I get the following error now when importing from my local station

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

It looks like a corrupt data from your log files… I got similar massage today from an other application and it was from the data that was trying to import
Peter

Not sure how to fix it :frowning:

There is a logfile checking utility a member here has created - it looks thoroughly for errors in the logfile, but I believe you have to have wdisplay in the root which you don’t but easy the create and make a logfiles folder under it, put utility in c:\wdisplay and run it with the suspicious logfiles copied into the duplicate folder. I’ll try and find the link.

Aha! I found it …

http://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/38477

is the thread and the author HometownZone talks of it and the download link. May have to set some parameters up for NZ 9am times etc…

It does not fix anything but points out the errors in a file to print for followup manually. I will pm you my phone number as there is a bit of a procedure to get current logfile correct while still running live.

It primarily looks for duplicate lines and missing lines at end of and start of day.

Update- I have transferred WD and Wxsim to a re-formatted faster computer, Wxsimate seems to work fine now.
