Hi All
My WXSIM runs a forecast every 2 hours; since yesterday, it’s always been the same and is inaccurate and outdated.

I’ve tried deleting the plantext file and running forecast again, still same result.
I have attached said forecast. Many thanks for any help given.

If there is a problem, it is with the data from WXSIM as the script generates what is in the plaintext.txt file.
The first remark, it is 10 hours old , current time at your place 16:00, forecast is generated at 06:00
Will check later to see if there is another plaintext.txt file and what the differences are.

Seems that your WXSIM file is stalled.
It is uploaded frequently but the contents is not updated with a new forecast.

Many thanks Wim. I changed the forecast to not use EMCWF. That seems to have changed the forecast, understandably but a little more accurate I think.
That does not explain why there is only an old plaintext.txt uploaded from your PC.
The file is uploaded every so many minutes but the contents of the file is old.
You have to check on your PC what is inside the plaintext.txt file in your WXSIM folder.
If that is also old data
→ the problem is with WXSIM
→ and/or your changes, maybe you set the forecast to manual
If it is recent data in the PC and old data on your website
→ check the ftp-log and settings in WeatherDisplay

Many thanks, Wim. I’ve gone through the settings, I can’t seem to find where the problem might be.
The last 2 forecasts today, one at 0805, the next 1005 changed only in in the max temp today from 36 to 35. However, the dates and time stamp are the same:

Check the bottom lines of your plaintext.txt generated by WXSIM
No GFS/ECMWF or READY data found -
make sure this is checked for download in WXSIMATE
and for import in WXSIM
If you ask WXSIM to generate a forecast without the official forecast data you only get these very dense results.

If you’re no longer mixing GFS and ECMWF data then the ‘mixed’ data file won’t be re-created so it will have old data in it. You probably need to switch WxSim back to using the ‘unmixed’ GFS only file by changing the filename it’s looking for.
Two possibilities: (1) WXSIMATE is not running (or the scheduler is off), or (2) this is a result of a problem that started about a day ago with Chris’ GFS and ECMWF processing. He hopes to fix that in the next day or so. Meanwhile, the Bohler GFS is working.
