Wunderground conditions Fog and Snow

Hi, Brian

Without too much trouble, Is it possible to add “FG” Fog and “SN” Snow to the wunderground conditions?

do you to the manual selection in the wunderground setup?

I mean through normal/rapid update conditions like CLR,FEW,SCT,BKN,RA.

that sort of conditions come through from a selected metar
I have not though looked for FG, but do look for FOG, from a metar
same for snow from a selected metar

do you mean to use WD weather description more to set that condition (based on if WD thinks its foggy)

yes. I have found WD is accurate in detecting fog conditions and I imagine snow as well.

Good morning,

I woke up this morning and found, that my WD downloaded the nearest METAR from Frankfurt Airport correctly, displaying me condition “FOG” as icon. I hoped that this condition was uploaded to wunderground aswell but it seems that other than “clouds” condition like BKN, SCT, FEW, CLR, DZ, RA etc. it uploaded no condition at all to WU. FOG = empty in the table of WU.

Any idea why this condition “FOG” and maybe others like “SNOW” are not being uploaded?
