Wrong windchill with %windch%

On my site I displayed the wind chill using %windch%.
It gave 25 degrees Celsius while normal temp was around 18.
The display on my WMR928N showed 17 or so for wind chill.
Somehow the heat index teams up with the wind chill (or the other way around) and showes exact the same high temperature (25).

I searched in the long list of possible codes to use, and saw that I could also use %windchillinmetric%. I changed my wxlocal2.html and immediately the right values were given on my site. After a few minutes even the index-heat came down to around 18 degrees (without changing the code for the index heat!).

Anyone experienced this also and is this station-related ??

hi
i see the problem…
it is using the dual windchill/heat index display from the main screen
I will fix it so that it does acualy give the windchill, for the next version

Did you change this in one of the updates, Windy?
The wind-chill is ok, now I use %windchillinmetric%.
But f.i. today the heat index (%heati%) was twice as high as it ‘should’ be.
Should I use another code for this?

(i must have gone bacxk a letter by mistake!)

not sure whats up wit %heati%
are you using oF?
maybe i have converted it 2x (but i cant see that is the case in the code)…
