Wrong high temp [closed]

Hi!

This is my pwswd https://vilmeteo.es/pwsWD/index.php

I realised that today there is a wrong high temp record. While the graph is showing a 18ºC high temp, the record is 29ºC. Why?

Attach two screenshots.

Also suspecting that month rainfall is repeating last month record.

Could you help me? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but can not access your website.

Just guessing about your problem:
Sometimes, during the day, invalid data is copied to the history file .
The graphs only use the data from WU and WU filters invalid data.

To test:
You could deleter the history file . . ./pwsWD/_my_settings/history.txt
Then we can follow the updates of that file during a few days.
We then can check if the cron-job runs at the correct time at 23:55

Be aware that high-lows use the reset at 00:00
If you are f.i. in Australia (09:00 reset) you can not use the PWS_Dashboard.

Thank you Wim for your answer!

Ups, i’ve got no problem, even in Firefox :-k

I tried deleting the history.txt file. Let’s wait what happen now

Hi again!

i deleted the history.txt file, but is not regenerating. Now, i have no records of highs/lows, rain…yesterday and year rainfall is not keeping yesterday rain.

What should i do? Thanks!!

Hi vilmeteo,

Your website https://vilmeteo.es/pwsWD/ uses WU as data-source.
WU only delivers current values, no high-lows

If you want to use those high-lows you need to run a cron-job every 5 minutes.
That cron-job compares the current values with todays high-lows which are stored in the history.txt file
More info here: No High/Lows, where is history and graphs data used for, and ? cron ?

It seems that you are not running a cron-job or that the cron-job fails.
You can test the cron script in the browser.

@ALL
Adding ?test when manually running the cron-script will give extra information such as

  • all files loaded
  • uploads to other weather-networks (if you selected that)
  • all updated values to the history.txt file

Just run it with http (s):// your website url /pwsWD/PWS_cron_stationcron.php?test

Succes, Wim
