WMR200 Rainfall figures

I have recently bought a wmr200 and have had a few problems downloading my data from the console, so I am experimenting ways of getting it right. Today I have downloaded about 10 days of data fairly successfully but have a few issues.

My rainfall total for this month shows 22mm on WD rainfall charts but also shows no days of rain for July, which is correct I have had no rain this month, so I am not sure why it shows 22mm for July? The total for the month seems to have carried over from the end of June.

Also my temp & humidity graphs are not bad from what I have downloaded but I get spikes every once or twice in a day, for example a recording of 22C fairly steadily then 1 min it jumps to 19C then the next minute straight back up to 22C, not quite sure why this happens, it happens with the humidity at exactly the same minute too. These spikes also always occur after I have downloaded data at the point of transition between download and live data kicking in too.

I am using the 10.37 full version of WD and have read all the hints and tips on this forum for datalogging.

Would appreciate any comments thanks.

I can also confirm the spikes problem under the same circumstances, more precisely it looks like a record early (or first) in the history recovery is placed at the end of the history, out of order. in other words the spike value is the value when WD was last stopped.
