WMII not updating after computer shutdown

I have a WMII. I shut the computer down overnight 11PM to 9AM and when I restarted WD it did not download any of the archive data from the console. Is there a way to force WD to retreive all the data from the station? (I am running the latest version)

Did you try to set the time that you want WD to extract data from and restart? This is from the Control Panel->Datalogger page. Also, make sure the PC and WMII times match.

also make sure the time and data on the console is the same as the pc time and date

I have verified that the datalogger and WMII times agree and I still have the problem. It seems that there are large gaps in the data as well as confused dates and times. The last few nights that I have shut down the computer at 11PM of so and tried to restart at 10AM WD tries to retreive the data and then gives the Windows error message saying the it has to close. Is there any thing I can do?
