Hey Brian
I have not experience the issue from: WLL build 366 yearly rain not updating until today
I emailed you the WLL csv data along with WD log file. Creating this msg in case you needed to catch up on the issue. Also I don’t think I could have
sent those files via this msg.
Curious what you find. The rain amounts are off when WD is down during or right after a rain event - which it re-reads the data, that is where the issue is (IMHO)
Thanks
what is the exact issue?
you say amounts are off…what amounts exactly?
also what version/build of WD?
Sorry the yearly is defiantly off.
Daily and monthly appear to be slightly off
Btw here is the graph of WD. Check out the spike when I came home and restarted at 3pm. Even though it hadn’t; rained for hours it still picked up some
On the other pic, I modified WLL to match the yearly from the VP console.
On the graph daily shows 1.07 and monthly 1.88 from VP— on WD daily 1:09 and monthly 1:90
what version/build?
do you have set to use console rain total?
From the other thread we determined its set correctly:
you already have ticked to use the console rain total
which is good
do not go and un set that
Btw what I neglected was the yearly rain difference
When I restarted WD yesterday, it showed yearly as 18:05 when in fact VP console showed 17:97
Currently on build 368
No issues updating to 371. However, this issue has been going on for multiple versions - FYI
Did you get my email and files. Did that help?
ok, good, the first thing is to make sure you are now on the latest version so we can move forward
I cant do much on it now, people are very demanding , I am very stressed, the doctor said my blood pressure is too high, I might pop , I might have to leave the forum, its just getting too much, people are putting me under too much pressure, no one seems to understand
I just updated to the latest.
Not super urgent as it takes time for rain and me being at my mac to notice and do anything LOL
Hope you are better soon
note that the Davis WLL history data does not actually provide month or year rain amounts
only daily rain total
so WD adds the daily rain in the history data to the month and year values when working through the history data
but if you have set to use console rain total then once back to live data, the month and year totals in WD should match the WLL month and year totals…yes?
Hope you are better soon
I am not sick exactly, just have elevated high blood pressure because of all the demands and stress WD users on this forum and via email put me under
and for that I’m deeply sorry and hope things get better… .I have always appreciated you and your efforts and thanked you all your work…
what helps a lot if people could help me by answering my questions, they are important:
