Windows 7 users:

Windows 7 does not support the latest security, needed by WD for https systems
but there is a solution posted by another user
I forced Windows 7 to use TLS 1.1 & 1.2 by executing the following easy fix program : MicrosoftEasyFix51044.msi

https://download.microsoft.com/download/0/6/5/0658B1A7-6D2E-474F-BC2C-D69E5B9E9A68/MicrosoftEasyFix51044.msi

Or as an alternative with regedit :

In the following path :
(32 bit) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\WinHttp
(64 bit) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\WinHttp

Add or modify the entry : DefaultSecureProtocols DWORD 0x00000A00

The information comes from this page : Mise à jour pour activer TLS 1.1 et TLS 1.2 en tant que protocoles sécurisés par défaut dans WinHTTP dans Windows - Support Microsoft
Sorry, I don’t find how to get it in English

English page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/update-to-enable-tls-1-1-and-tls-1-2-as-default-secure-protocols-in-winhttp-in-windows-c4bd73d2-31d7-761e-0178-11268bb10392
for those who don’t want to translate the French page - and thanks to OP for finding it an Brian for spreading the word!
