Windchill

All,

If you look at my Weather Display Live at http://cessnaskyhawk.com/weather/index.html You will notice that after a minute or so the windchill gaguge displays wrong data for several seconds and then returns back to normal. This continues every minute or so. Can anyone tell me how to stop this? It’s the middle of the summer here in Columbus Ohio and I don’t believe a windchill of 34 degrees is correct. I’m using a WS2310 weather station.

Yes I saw that. I managed to capture your clientraw.txt file when it did that and fed it into my test system which showed the same thing. Therefore it appears to be coming into WDL like that - this is your rogue clientraw file -

The windchill is the 0.1 reading after the sequence of 7 100s. I’m not familiar with that weather station but perhaps someone else has come across this?

Julian

it must be a bug in WD
does it happen on the change of the minute?

As far as I can tell it happens at random times. Also the amount of time it displays the incorrect windchill is also random.

Andrew

it migth be that its using metric (oC) windchill everyone now and then
i will see if i can fix for the next version (10.13p)
