I have the Davis Vantage Vue, I am using WD v10.37q
I have noticed the wind speed or gust isnt being recorded to wd, nor the direction.
I have saved and exited the program and also restarted my pc, but still not joy!
I havn’t messed with any settings.
The Temperature, humidity and baro etc is fine.
Has anybody got any ideas as to what is causing this?

Is it showing anything on the console?
You could try rebooting that also.
Make sure connections are secure.
most likely you have a setting set wrong in WD
i.e you have WD set to use a 1 wire windspeed, vortex windspeed, or metar windspeed, or similar
best thing is to .zip and email me your settings files so I can check them

@4wd yes the console is working ok.
I’ve only had my new station for 6 days now, so clearly I havn’t set something right

the problem is, you have set to use a the windspee/dir from a metar in the metar download in the ftp/internet setup
untick that setting
