Any tips on good wind sock poles, wind socks? I bought a pole and sock from Amazon and after a month the string on the sock broke, fixed that, 6 months later the tip of the pole broke off. That was unfixable at least for me, fiberglass pole very thin at top kind of like a 10 foot fishing pole with out the rings and stuff. There was an expensive mount which was really a pipe stuck in the ground. i used a piece of 3/4" rebar driven into the ground. The sock was rather faded after 6 months in the Phoenix weather.
