Why not try Forum Search before you post?

We seem to get a lot of posts asking exactly the same question, when a Forum Search might quickly produce the answer you need. I recommend using Advanced Search.

Happy searching

LATER EDIT: Search is different to the old Forum, but if you click on the hamburger in the search box (advanced search) you can narrow it down a bit. . .

the advanced search does work great

Brian beat me to it, I used to be frustrated in not finding something I knew I had participated in or some of the key words, but was not using the magnifying glass to initiate the search, which finds LOTS of the things I was thinking of.

I still ask dumb questions, but fewer since I found that there is a difference between the box and the glass

Maybe some sort of FAQ area, specific for the PWS Dashboard would be handy?

Not sure. . . There is already a lot of documentation at PWS_Dashboard start that should not need to be duplicated here, so it would not be fair to expect Wim to produce FAQs as well. I run a very old version of the dashboard and do not necessarily understand all the features of the latest version, so if I answer a forum question I often have to check the documentation and/or search to find the answer first.

Maybe I should have headed this thread “Please check the documentation and try Forum search before you post”

same reason people ask on facebook “Where is the nearest Chinese restaurant” Easier to ask, than do it yourself.

I did do a search but could not find an answer to my specific issue!

Nothing personal, it can happen

It would be great if WD had an updated manual, and some up-to-date “How to” you tube videos.

I agree, but my post refers mainly to the PWS-dashboard category – not WXSim or WD. . .
