I am running out of jokes right now.
So here I sit, in balmy Des Moines Iowa on spring break 2011. I have had 2 official days of vacation and finally got out of my jammies into real clothes. I am wearing the remains of my 1995 green shirt I got in Ireland that summer we went. It has 4 sheep on it and one says “boo” to the other sheep. Not sure why, but it does.
I have installed Internet explorer 9 and it isn’t much different that Ican tell from IE 8 other than the tab bar is on the top of he page, lost, I hate the color of it so I am going to see if that can be tweaked. I installed superantispyware on our machines. Malwarebytes is good too and updated all my software. Shut down all the machines and blew out the accumulated dust. My wife’s machine runs quieter and I could go there and say now will it work on her… but I am not going to die for that one.
Lily wants me to go and buy chocolate milk so I will head out soon to Hyvee. I also saw two squirrels getting it on right in front of my bedroom window. I may be in treatment for that image burned into my brain.
I see that rain is in the forecast and I want to go buy bags of top soil to fix the winters ruts by someone other than me feeling rather than backing out the drive normally, driving over soft earth and going out my drive was absolutely necessary. the ruts have water in them.
I emailed Davis about fixing my temperature station that has been in the basement for the past year, still 72 dollars… hmmm
Still looking for the elusive Droid of my dreams.
Spent time this morning under an assumed name writing on the comment section of the Des MOines Register’s news articles. Having a blast pissing people off. heh, heh,heh
I did go out to the weather station and blew out with compressed air the ISS and outside stations, not much considering the weather , was dirty. the cases were dry and clean. I am impressed.
Also blew the dust from the Envoy and consoles.
I am running out of time wasting things to do. I do have 3 tests to write and run off and lesson plans to write.
OH lordy, gotta go the wife is now back on CNN and the problems of Japan. She obsesses. I told her to wait until the radiation reaches Iowa, then she can run around scared making duck sounds.
Oh… she wants me to try out for the Aflac duck voice, I am not doing it.
