What accessories for Oregon Scientific WMR928N ?

Hello all, I’m wondering, what accessories are available for my weather station, the Oregon Scientific WMR928N ?
I’ve made a solar sensor out of an extra temp/hum in a jar, but it’s not working very accurate.
Is there a special solar sensor from Oregon Scientific, that works on my station?

I don’t think there are any solar sensors for the WMR928N, but it seems like there is on for the “BAR998” OS weather station.

Nope.

The WMR928N seems not that extensible … guess it will be a 1-wire or LabJack in the future :wink:

Hi Chow, all ok? Just found out, that the second temp (solar sensor setup 1.1 and 12.1), that the 12.1 should be the difference between the main temp and the temp reading in the jar. I just used your setting, which is ok for your setup, but for my station, it might be some degrees higher or lower. @Work now, but will check that as soon as I’m @home. See ya :kermit:

Extra temp/humidity sensors are the only things available. So a solar sensor is possible as you’ve found. There’s also a temp sensor with a 1m probe, so you could do a soil temperature probe if you wanted.

with a labjack, you can add a solar sensor, and with a 1 wire adaptor, you can add the 1 wire sensor (i.e from hobbyboards) :wink:
