Sorry to be a nuisance, after 2 days attemping to set up a webpage with my WS data, I finally managed it, 
only problem I got now is that it will not update, I have set the upload times in the software to every 5 minutes, I know its probably something silly that I have not set up correctly, bit of a novice when it comes to this sort of thing. :oops: any suggestion as to where I may have gone wrong.

Check under control panel, ftp, connection, main internet switch on. Also, any errors in the ftp (full) log?
Nik I did follow those steps, honest, if I go into my ftp site and delete the files in the relevant folder, then tell the weather display software to upload, it does it, it does not appear to be overwriting the data files with up to date information, but puts it in a temp file instead, I did warn you I was a complete numpty. #-o
And that probably makes no sense at all. :oops:
Have a look in your main WD directory for ftplogfull.txt and ftplog.txt and see if there’s any obvious error information. Feel free to post the full log here if you want.

Looks like the rename is failing…maybe try turning that off in the ftp connections tab setup.

http://madmutts.co.uk/mo/myweather.htm looks like it worked once so I think the server is just not allowing you to rename the file if it already exists.
Yeah - sure that’s what it is. In Control Panel, ftp etc. setup, connections, make sure you have “Rename the file on the server after uploading” unticked.
yeah, some web servers do not allow renaming of a file to one that already exists (maybe if its a windows based server?)
