Having a problem displaying webcam images. All was fine until a couple days ago and the webcam block went dark. The ip web cam is functioning. I’m able to get images thru Meteobridge’s Weather Nets and Cam tabs. I’m not real techy so I don’t make config changes etc. Also confirmed webcam output using
Amcrest’s (mfg) Desktop app.
Yesterday I noticed my PWSdashboard webcam block was blank and also was not showing on my other sites, including the weather services pages such as Awekas and WeatherCloud. I discovered that the URL for my webcam image generated on Meteobridge had change slightly. Instead of “https://admin. . .”, it now begins “https://content. . .”. Check your Meteobridge settings under Weather Networks, Meteobridge Weather Camera. Click on the camera icon in the settings box to show the image and URL. I had to update the URL in the various places where I display the webcam image to get it to show again.
Hi Wim,
Woke this morning and all’s well. The strange thing is that I didn’t make a change since my post!!
The ip address for my Meteobridge set to static so it stays the same after reboot???
As always, thanks for your great product and support.
Phil
UPDATE: After I thought was an act of magic returning my webcam block, it began to fail again. I made the URL change suggested by BKS97 and all’s good. Thanks for the help.
