It’s 2nd March, yesterdays rain total for 1st March was 12.4 which shows on the main display but is missing from the detailed rain totals. When I try to update the daily totals via Control Panel or the main screen I get the error message “Log data file for that rain reset time is missing”. Looking at the log file, the daily total correctly resets to zero at midnight (0:0 is 12.4; 0:1 is zero).
How do I over-ride the error message? Thanks
I’m a bit confused, because updating rain totals usually involves loading a data file - so the error message doesn’t seem to make sense. You can convert a log file to a data file, apparently, but I have never done it. I hope someone else will chip in, or you will have to ask Brian direct.
It seems to have rectified itself - I had tried ro reload the data file with no effect but on March 4th it correctly updated both March 1st and 2nd. Thanks.
