So i start a new thread with a suggestion. I have been waiting this for couple of months now. Really would appreciate that someone who has access to the source code would compile it for ARM so it could be used on Raspbery pi.
Raspberry Pi CPU: 700 MHz ARM1176JZF-S core (ARM11 family)
Just got my Raspberry Pi today. Been waiting for it for a while. Not really planning on weather with it, rather using it with something called Android Transporter to allow mirroring my Nexus 7 tablet to a HDMI big screen, but that software is still not available for a while.
I’m sure I will play with it a bit with some weather stuff until that arrives. Perhaps use my Perl scripts to grab info from the weather station just for fun.
I must say, despite knowing it was small, I was a bit surprised at the size of the “pouch” it arrived in the mail in.
Creating the SDcard with Wheezy-Raspbian OS on it now.
Yes, i have tried wview and it works but when using it i need to create some script what will convert the data to format what weather display live uses (i want to keep using Weather Display Live).
you wont really need to know much about free pascal programing
you will though need the free pascal ARM compiler installed (compilation is done through a command terminal)
OK, i got the fpc (Free Pascal Compiler version 2.6.0-4+rpi2 [2012/07/23] for arm) installed on my Raspberry. What do you need to send me the source code?
I have not forgoten
now that I have got the Mac version custom tags problem sorted I have more time for other things
I just need to find a monitor for my linux pc
I think one of the kids has one…
I will look for the files tomorrow
thanks for your patience
