Why WDL don’t write any forecast in my website?
I’ve notice that a lot of sites has a forecast writing in few words. (Near forecast-icon - p.e. http://www.worthing-weather.com/)

It’s to do with the type of weather station you have.
The Davis Vantage Pro2 produces a forecast that will display in WDL.
If you don’t have a Davis then no forecast is produced but you can enter one manually.
Just go to “Input Daily Weather” at the top of the WD screen, then “Current Text/Warning Input”.
Type the forecast into the box on the top right of the screen and tick the box under the box where it says “Weather Display Live show Davis VP Forecast/warning text toggle”.
Then you need to go into the WDLconfig file and change the 0 tag from “0” to “1”, then save the wldconfig file and upload it to your site.
The only problem with this is that when you remove the forecast WDL will still keep alternating the current conditions with a blank forecast so you’ll need to alter the 0 tag back to 0 again and re-save & upload the config file.
Alternatively you can put the forecast into the same box and tick the following two boxes:
“Use this text for the forecast on Weather Display Live”
“Weather Display Live show Davis VP Forecast/warning text toggle”
This will display the forecast in the same place but it will only be there for about 5 seconds with about 30 seconds of the current conditions so don’t make the forecast too long otherwise visitors won’t have time to read it!!
