I swapped out my Intel i3 NUC with a new Intel i7 NUC. It was pretty straight forward - move the 2 sticks of RAM and the one SSD hard drive. The new one booted into Windows 7 x64 fine. Windows installed new drivers for the i7 processor and I had to install a new Intel graphics driver for the newer graphics chip.
Everything appears normal except for WD loaded. The Davis VP 2 station type had disappeared and I had to set up the Davis stuff again, including the datalogger which had lost the IP address. Here’s my issues:
-
The data logger screen does not open when WD loads. The data logger is turned on in the control panel. The current console data is displayed but the logger screen never shows. My web sites look up to date however. Is there a way to tell if it’s running correctly?
-
The WD icon in the PC system tray is now a black cloud with a thunderbolt. It used to be a square blue icon. Why is this?
-
Lastly, I display WDL (packaged with WD) and WD on my computer PC screen. They’re now both displayed not on the screen where I want them and also the wrong size. After adjusting them, then closing WD, the location and the size doesn’t stick. How can I force to remember the last size and position?
Thanks for any help.
