I recently removed all ftp settings and made WD create the files locally (as my site is locally hosted).
Now when it comes to the http download it wont run when it is scheduled to be run.
It works when I press “test” but it is does not do it automatically.
I am using Weather Display v10.37P-15 (the latest 1)
is there anything that i should tweak to get it going automatically again or is it classified as a “bug”.
When the ftp was in place the http downloader would download flawlessly.
I believe you will still need the main FTP switch turned ON, that’s on Connections, to use any of the FTP functions.
If you are meaning the “main internet switch” yes that is still on.
make sure you have ticked, still use for all other, if you do not have ticked, use weather display’s ftpupd.exe
Thanks for that Brian.
When I un FTP’d WD I unticked the the option that says “use WD’s own FTP (untick to make files locally)”
Now I have just ticked “still use FTPupd.exe for everything but normal uploads”
I will come back here at 12.15pm (NZDT) when it should be done automatically and tell ya how it went.
Thanks again
Regards
Tim
Brian Thanks so much, it works again
