I’m awaiting new RAM (tomorrow), but had a BSOD about 25 minutes ago. How can I recover WD? The main screen has all the wrong colors, the clock keeps ticking, but no data is coming to WD, and my web site and wunderground are not receiving any data of course. How can I recover this mess?
Sounds like the ini file got corrupted. Have you tried reverting to a backup ini file for WD? By default WD auto-saves a backup of the ini file in your WD install directory.
NorCal Dan, thanks again for saving me. I tried what you said and all looks normal with my screen on the monitor. And my weather site and wunderground site are updating.
Sure hope the new memory helps (tomorrow) and prevents these BSODs, which are in turn messing with WD at times.
