WD Application Monitoring

Hi All,

Weather Display crashed a couple of days ago and I never noticed.
I don’t monitor the PC I have WD running on much, surprised I didn’t notice from my website though which I check a lot.

Anyway that got me thinking about having some sort of monitoring/notification/retstart going on.

I see there are some programs out there that claim to monitor an application and restart it if it stops responding (i.e knas restarter)
Also I suppose you could poll your website for the last update (though of course you may have an internet outage rather than WD crash)

Has anyone looked into this or implemented anything?

Hi

I just set my WD pc to restart periodically, for me its after every forecast run so 3 times per 24 hours.

I did a search and saw StartWatch mentioned but didn’t look into it as the context I saw it in suggested it was a scheduling tool like Windows Scheduler… should have dug deeper.
