WD and NOAA forecast download

Is anyone else having an issue downloading the NOAA forecast in WD
I am receiving an error whenever it attempts to get the forecast.
This would under NOAA forecast download.
Receiving this error
Local directory for Noaa download is c:\wdisplay
PWD
257 “/data/forecasts/zone/nh” is the current directory

Retrieving the NOAA file nhz008.txt now
Saving the NOAA file to c:\wdisplay\nhz008.txt now

550 SIZE not allowed in ASCII mode
141: FTP protocol error: 550 SIZE not allowed in ASCII mode
QUIT
221 Goodbye.

And it nevers downloads the forecast file. Not sure if it’s NOAA change
Anyone else notice this?

I am having the same problem. It happened yesterday too but only for a few hours.

Getting a similar message pertaining to NOAA download issue when running a forecast in WXSIM .
WXSIMATE not able to complete download at this time.

happening here also NOAA 5day stopped downloading

Metar downloads are not working as well.

I just tried a manual download using WxSimate and it worked OK so maybe the problem has been fixed? I don’t use NOAA/METAR data in WD so I can’t comment on those.

My 5day isn’t downloading either

This might be something Brian needs to look at.
You can get the metar to work, just uncheck to use ftp instead of HTTP

and the metar appears to download.
I see a new update was posted on Dec 20th
Will give it a try, I would say Brian has fixed the issue with the new update.

Just checked the Dec20th update, Forecast download still not working.
Time to reach out to Brian, unless it’s a NOAA issue or a change they made.

I sent Brian an email. You can go to the site and manually download the file and save it to the download folder and it shows up in WD.

Brian sent me some updated files and they work fine. Look for an updated file in the near future.

New download is up, things appear to be working again !

I am having the same “file too large” issue trying to ftp. Where can I get Brian’s new files to fix this?
