I have manully set my warmest day on record temp but it doesn’t show up right when I view it on my web site with the tag
%warmestdayonrecord% any ideas???
Might try waiting 24 hours and looking again.
Well it’s been 24 hours and still doesn’t show the correct max temp??
I wonder if it has anything to do with it being triple digits???
Mine’s triple digits, 117.7 F, that works OK.
note that in the ini file, its *10, and in oC
I’ve tried everything I can think of still can’t get hte right record high to show…here’s what my weather summary page says
86.7 F at: 18:00 on: 24 Jul 2004 when the actual high should read
100.6 F at 14.36 on 24 Jul 2004 any ideas how to fix this???
so when you do view > all time records > then click the “all time” button does the highest temp says 86.7 F at: 18:00 on: 24 Jul 2004 or your desired value.
so in amongst all your attempts I guess you have pressed the “set values button” - and entered your desired values in the top row of boxes for highest temperature - clicked the “all time to date” radio button above then clicked ok (and repeated for year to date and month to date as well)??
and the value is still wrong after all that?? hmmmmmm very puzzling - one for Brian I guess?! scratches head - seems the routine for highest day temp does not recognise changes to all time records?!?!
What’s in your wdisplay.ini? You should see something like this kindly decoded for me by Brian:
[Record high temperature]
values=476 18 27 27 29 7 2003
476 → 47.6oC
18 → hour 18
27 → minute 27 (repeated 2x , dang)
20 → day 29
7 → month 7
I have just checked mine and the warmest day value does NOT match the highest temp ever recorded either so perhaps the warmest day measures an average over the 12 hours? Same goes for coldest temperature.
The reported times for coldest/warmest nights and days are either 6pm or 6am for my data - see below
perhaps Brian can enlighten us??
if 100.6 F at 14.36 on 24 Jul 2004 is your highest ever temp so far then does the %recordhightemp% tag show this?
it seems record high temp and warmest day are different things?!?
Good catch!
AHA it worked with the recordhightemp BUT it doesn’t show the date or time just the Temp now???
Ok the %warmestdayonrecord% says 86.7 but the record says 100.6
hmmmmmmm still messing around can’t seem to find it…Not sure why the record high isn’t showing the date and time just the temp!!
Some of those values have separate tags for the date/time. Hmm, seems to be only the date
%recordlowtempday%…Day of record low temperature
%recordhightempday%…Day of record high temperature
%recordlowtempmonth%…Month of record low temperature
%recordhightempmonth%…Month of record high temperature
%recordlowtempyear%…Year of record low temperature
%recordhightempyear%…Year of record high temperature
Hmmmm I see what you mean I put in the %recordhightemp% tag ahead of the ones you said but it doesn’t give enough info…I still say the
%warmestdayonrecord% should show my %recordhightemp% in this instance beings they are the same Temp???
ah
warmest day on record tag
that is the for the current month, and its an average from 6am to 6pm
i think
i will check
AHhhhhhhhh Thats what someone said it maybe an average that explains it any chnce of getting the %recordhightemp% tag to show date and time like the warmestdayonrecord tag??? Thanks Brian and everyone alse who helped!!!
ok, yes, its the 12 hour period, and its an all time record, and there should be ones for the month and year too
there should be another tag for the all time highest temperature
these tags are already there, and will do it
%recordhightemp%…All time record high temperature
%recordhightempday%…Day of record high temperature
%recordhightempmonth%…Month of record high temperature
%recordhightempyear%…Year of record high temperature
Thanks Brian I made that work!!! Where can I find a list of all the tags???
