I have been using WD for years. Recently, my Virus/Malware program is having trouble with WD, saying that WD itself is malware and that many of the files it has checked are making “attack” attempts but have been stopped and quarantined.
Does anyone know anything about this issue and/or have a solution to the problem?

what antivirus/malware program are you using?? as it might be given false reading.
I use defender and have excluded the wdisplay folder from scanning or just the exe files so you should try that and allow the file when downloading a new one manually
The same also applies to wxsim if using it
