I’ve been using VitualVP since January with no problems. All of a sudden, after a restart (power outage), VVP can not connect with my weather station. I use the USB serial adapter to connect. It has been so long since I installed it I’m having trouble figuring out the problem. Any thoughts on how to “attack” this problem?

I’d try connectioning directly with a weather software. WD or WL to see if you can get data w/o using VVP.

i think he uses VWS, so the Q would be to use that direct as a test
Just to followup this thread, based on the screenshots Rocky emailed me, it appeared that VirtualVP was connecting to the console ok, but the weather programs weren’t connecting to VirtualVP. I had Rocky try reinstalling the N8VBvCOM driver, and that solved the problem.

I’m not involved in this problem at all but feel i should thank the author for his obvious fast response in diagnosing the problem and sorting it out for the user.
