Thanks for posting that - I wasn’t aware of that one. There used to be another freeware signed virtual serial port driver, but it was based on a third party library who had them stop distributing it for license reasons. I hope this latest one is not based on the same library or the same fate will probably come its way. After the previous signed freeware driver was pulled, I contacted the author of com0com, the open source virtual serial port driver. I agreed to support the project by offering to cover the cost of the signing certificate and provide a signed version of com0com for free distribution. We have begun beta testing it. If anyone wants to give the signed 64-bit version of com0com, send an email to support at softwx.com.
