I realize this is an old post but I’m new to the software and trying to get the client to work. I’m getting a green received signal but no data. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated
I use VNC and it is almost realtime with hardly any noticable delays.
There are a few different ways to do this (search “client setup” in FAQs). Which way are you trying?
That’s for remote access and control (I use TeamViewer) but I think @jagfandaddy is trying to set up the passive client screen on another machine.
Yes, just my laptop in the house. I think I saw on another post something about it not working right on wifi? Anyway, I’m very happy with the software. I’m coming from Cumulus witch is a far cry from this. I’ve got a lot to learn from this. Set up was a breeze. If it doesn’t work out using the laptop I’ve got Weather Underground that I’m using that works. Thanks for the help
Ok, I think I figured out why it’s not working. The PC that has the station attached to it is not being shared on the network. I’ll let you all know if that did the trick. Thanks for the feedback!
