Next version of WDL, due out in a few weeks, will be multi-lingual. I can get it translated into French, German and Italian but if there’s anyone who can translate it into other languages that would be great.
I’ve got a document of 57 words and phrases that WDL uses so it’s not a huge task.
reminds me of a student I once had while I was teaching at Drake. I was very tired with the pre-med students and when asked how I wanted lab reports written , I told the class write it in Portuguese, but English was preferable.
So one paper in the middle of my midnight pile, I couldn’t figure out the language. Took it to the Foreign Language dean to learn it was Portuguese. I am not going down that path again…
yes, I did. The lady was a nurse at the hospital where my dad worked and she later became a doctor. Of course she called my dad and asked him if she should write it and of course he said of course.
But all aside, the WDLive in multi-languages has to be a very big plus.
