I have an Ecowitt weather system now running (anemometer, rain, temp, humidity, UV etc.). What’s the best way to utilize the these Ecowitt devices through the GW1000 hub/gateway, with existing 1-wire devices? I have the basic “station” elements running nicely in WD and want to integrate some additional Ecowitt items; such as lightening detector, water sensors, more temp sensors.
I know that I need to Ecowitt API keys. How do I then integrate those devices that are presumably found through the GW1000 hub and assign to different WD elements? I’m used to the 1-wire setup where you assign them to “extra1”, “extra2” devices. I don’t see anything similar in the Ecowitt setup.
