I have often seen confusion in the Forum pages regarding the use of current conditions and forecast conditions icons. It seems to me that the confusion would end if WD showed both the current and forecast conditions icons at the same time. This would be very useful to me, and I am sure others. I have attached a crude mock-up to show what I mean. So how about it people - any support for this suggestion? Brian, how difficult would it be for you to incorporate this into what is already an excellent software package?!
WD is extremely versatile and you can customize the main screen however you like. For instance on mine I show the current conditions icon, GR3 radar, lightning and my web cam. Once you get playing with that capability you can have a ball.
I agree re the versatility of WD and as you can see from my partial doctored screen shot, I use a lot of this versatility. However, I cant see how to do as I suggest in my first post. If you can do this then I would love you to enlighten me.
It seems you should be able to select Setup->Advanced/Misc Settings->Main Window Customize then tick Show a Custom Image and select the forecast icon. Then move it where you want on your main screen. Or maybe I’m misunderstanding the issue?
