uRAD air quality monitor

Could you add support for the uRAD air quality monitor. Weather display already supports it. uRADMonitor » Products I’m looking to buy one soon as we do not have any air quality stations in my county.

Sorry, that is impossible for me to do.

I myself can only test readily available consumer-grade sensors such as the currently supported PurpleAir, Luftdaten, Davis AirLink, Ecowitt sensors.
Professional-type AQ sensors with a starting price of more then 500$ are far out of my reach.
Their API’s are often protected and only have minimal documentation and no support at all for non-buyers.

But you can do that yourself if WD supports that device

I checked the latest WeatherDisplay tag-list and did not find a reference for AQ values for that sensor.
There are 2 values for NETATMO and uRAD CO2 and CH20.
Probably the uRAD AQ values are combined with other sensor-makes.

If you yourself have the correct WD tags for the uRAD AQ sensor measurements we can adapt the “extra-sensor” file for you to test after you received your device.
Warning: If it works depends on the measurement values returned, there should be current and 24H-avg values to be usable.

Sorry it has taken for ever for me to get back to this. I was looking at the uRADMonitor SMOGGIE-PM. Its a low cost basic air quality senor. Only $110 US. In Weather Display the settings for this unit are in with the purple Air settings. This makes me think maybe it would would because we already have Purple Air support but I’m not sure. I do plan on ordering this unit soon

I am not sure either and I can not test this. No WD and no uRad.
We can only figure it out if and how it works as soon as the device is connected to WD.

Hi all,

I am behind uRADMonitor and would like to help you if there is anything I can do.

Also, did you see this? http://discourse.weather-watch.com/p/513381

Sorry but why not make a ΑQ sensor by yourself and have your money in your pocket ? 8)
