Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 1st run hanging after showing mainform (Latest WD version)

Exactly the same symptoms as described Weather-Watch.com - A place for weather watchers to discuss watching the weather

Able to launch app after closing 2 extra blank windows, however error reoccurs each time when launching ./weatherdisplay

seems to be a problem with the language selection screen on start up?
what I can do is not show that…(as the you can change the language anyway)

i have made this change now in the latest update

Great. Thank you, will test and provide feedback.

Thanks! It is working now

that is good
I might do this to all the versions actually
