Two stations are connected to a computer using Ethernet - serial converters. I’ve installed WD in two separate directories, and have set up the stations accordingly.
When setting up the FTP upload function, the settings get overwritten (instance 1 save overwrites instance 2 settings or vice versa), so that I cannot upload data to two WDL-pages in an easy way.
Do you have any suggestions on how to accomplish this, without having to set up dedicated computers.
I’ve already successfully set up two instances, but it seems like both instances save some values at the same place the registry:
Among these:
→ HKCU\wdisplayftp.ini (ftp-connection data etc)
Is it possible to enable saving these values to different places in the registry ? Does running Wdisplay as different users on the same box solve my problem ?
If you install the second copy as described using the 2wd.txt file, then the settings should be independent. It’s always worked for me. What operating system are you using?
