Hi, all looking good but how do you turn off the dark mode off. I have a black back ground & blue writhing. I have the dark mode turned on in windows 11 settings but this the only website site that is displayed with a dark back ground. If I change from dark mode to light mode in windows 11 settings then the new site is fine (white back ground) .

The site tracks the state of dark mode on your PC/laptop/phone and sets the colour scheme accordingly. You can override this by…
- Click on your user icon (top right)
- Click on the Profile icon (bottom of list in right hand column)
- Select Preferences
- Select Interface tab
- You’ll see Colour Scheme settings. Set the normal to a ‘light’ scheme and then set the dark setting to ‘Same as regular’
- Click ‘Save Changes’

PS. I’m not entirely happy with the dark mode colour scheme so I’ll work on improving it when I get a bit of free time.
There’s a 2nd dark mode. Black background/white letters instead of the blue also.
There are indeed two schemes. The Weather-Watch schemes (light and dark) are tailored for this forum. The WCAG schemes are Web Content Accessibility Guidelines compliant which are simple high contrast schemes that might suit some people who find colour schemes difficult to see.
