Brian,
Will do as soon as I get home.
What exactly are the “settings files” named?
Thanks,
Larry

Theres a FAQ thread to zip and send files.
Where would I check for this as I am pretty sure I dont have any grouped upload. Looking in View>FTP Log there is no grouped stuff for the scheduled upload and also in the list of files to be uploaded
grouped upload is in the ftp/internet setup , grouped upload setup
check there
I cannot find that anywhere, must be blind but I have had a good look
its there
control panel, FTP/Internet setup
Grouped upload
Larry, try this update of the Ftpupd.exe program
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/ftpupd.zip
unzip to where you have WD installed (when the ftpupd.exe program is not running)
version 9.11
its under General ftp, the grouped uploads
Nothing set there, see attached picture.
Please note that on the scheduled upload of files the only thing listed is Upload of files, nothing else
Oh and this is not an issue for me as the schedule works perfectly and I dont use the upload now - just thought the issues were the same so may help for Larry
no, not the same issue
not sure why you are getting the error you are getting via the upload now
I would need your settings files to see if I can duplicate that error here
I am seeing this the last two days. About 3.27 the computer has to restart.
I see in the system tray scores of ftp icons. I haven’t done anything except to upload updates, alternating between the full and the zip to see if maybe it is an error in what I am replacing on the machine.
I have toyed with the idea and go backto the June old version and then see if that makes a difference, then to do a full reload of the most current version.
Brian,
ftpupd.exe version 9.11 installed in place of old one.
I’ve emailed you a zip of my “settings files”.
Just for reference since i updated to B32 yesterday or the day before Brian for our ws2350 issues. Since then i have had many ftp icons in the systray, BUT they are not crashing the computer and in taskmanager the ftpupd.exe is not running. For me its just one of those where the icon stays in the tray but when you mouse over it dissapears.
I also used the full install not the zip update.
I had made a change, but forgot to hide the system tray icon
download a new full install update now
or use the link above to the ftpupd.exe .zip update
Thanks Brian
