if you change the swath number up and click on go
what happens then?
you are my eyes for finding what/where this new rain type is in the table data etc
you have all the functions in that program to find out the info needed

hi Brian,
i stopped cronpakbusnew updating and looked at the data, it looks like the precipitation is present, see pic below…
that is good
Ok great.
Is it possible that data is shown on the mainscreen WD?
yes
I just need to work on that
what happens when you click on get data header
and then what shows in
pakbustabledatanames.txt
This is showing in pakbustabledatanames.txt:
Pakbus connection result 0 to comport #3
Get header data 0
“TOA5”,“station”,“CR1000”,“20810”,“CR1000.Std.32.02”,“CPU:Weatherdisplay1 basis -met R2S.CR1”,“49407”,“Public”
“TIMESTAMP”,“RECORD”,“BattV”,“Windr”,“Temp”,“Vocht”,“Windskm”,“Rain_mm”,“Precepitation_type”,“BP_mbar”,“SlrW”,“Tot24”
“TS”,“RN”,“Volts”,“Deg”,“DegC”,“%”,“kph”,“mm”,“”,“mbar”,“W/m^2”,“”
“”,“”,“”,“”,“”,“”,“”,“”,“”,“”,“”,“”
good oh, it shows there
there are some other data files
i,e
pakbustabledatanames.txt
pakbustabledata.csv
what shows in those?
it looks like its there then, just after the rain value
this is good
I can work on adding support
will work on that today
Great news
try
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/weatherdisplaytest.zip
i,e unzip to where you have WD installed (exit WD first)
and then see if the raw data for the rain type shows under view, debug info in WD
Yes its showing “rain type 0” , every second…
Like so:
rain type 0
rain type 0
rain type 0
rain type 0
that is good
it is working so far
now I just need to use that raw data in some way
I could add a custom tag that shows that value (converted to what it equates too)?
(and then you can use that custom tag where you want, etc)
Hi,
Is it in realtime or a minute value?
it should be updating at the update rate you have set (e.g the same rate as other data)
Ah great.
Is there a possibility it can be graphed on the mainscreen graph? In minute Data. Maybe using the hum scale?
So it can be seen what was a certain precipitation type during a rain event…?
Or by the colour of the rain graph?
easier to have a custom tag to show the value (or what it represents) that you can add to the custom screen
Hi Brian,
Thats great.
Can i see previous type and present, or present only?
[i forgot to mention, the ‘‘rain type 0’’ keeps updating every second in the debug screen. the list is immense]
I will remove from debug screen
once its a custom tag
(will be 2, raw value and what that translates too)
you can log that raw value in a custom log
