Strange hang up with realtime FTP

I noticed my website was not updating which relies on the clientraw file set. Looking at the realtime FTP it was permanently in a reset loop. So I logged on with the same credentials from Filezilla and found the certificate had been updated (Letsencrypt) so OK’d and restarted WD as the realtime FTP was still in a reset loop. This did not fix it - it required a reboot of Windows 7 before things got back to normal.

Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know why this happens and why it needs a reboot to get it working again?

That’s not the same as me, my issue is that it would not login and kept on resetting and trying again and failing to login, probably because of the change in certificate from LetsEncrypt. The reboot fixed it and has worked fine ever since.
