Hello
Attached are my Solar Sensor Setup Settings. I’ve tried tweaking them but it still displays wrong summary image and wrong icon on website.
I’m in Western Australia and at the moment thee is not a cloud in the sky, and there has been none all day.
I think this may well be related. What I’ve found is that there is no consistency in the max solar for time values in WD now, sometimes it’s too low by 200 or more w/m² other times it is nearly OK and others it may well be too high but personally I’ve not noticed that. I had ne cloudy day where WD said I had 10+ hours of sunshine.
Several folks her have issues with sunshine hours in WD now it seemed to start around of after build 146 prior to that it worked well. I tried to bring this to Brian’s attention but had no response and I know others have tried but not sure what his response was.
Because of the type of solar sensors in hobby equipment they measure global radiation and therefore we need accurate max solar for time readings to calculate sunshine hours.
i had been wondering if it was just the northern hemisphere that was having the issue but tpfrs has just proved me wrong
my first email came back with not aware of a problem sorry and the second I never heard back on
suggest those who have not emailed Brian about this do so, he may then see there is a problem
Thanks guys. I’ll continue to play with the settings and try budgies. I’ll send an email to Brian and see if I have any luck. He’s been responding to my missing data one’s.
