Today I recieved an offer for placing sun solar panels on my roof, nice but…
I doubt about failures to my Davis Vantage Pro 2 wireless trough radiation or something else…
Will be placed by profesionals but I’m wondering they have had that question ever
Can’t find anything here on forum (lot of solar panels yes but differ then I need  )
I think I may have misunderstood your question. Are you worried about the panels blocking the signal between the ISS and your console or are you thinking the panels might affect the readings from your ISS?
For blocking of the signal - will the panels be between the ISS and you console?
I can say for sure if they will affect your readings but my gut feeling is that they would improve things. Your roof tiles will reflect heat and also act as a heat source after a sunny day. The panels are designed to use the light so they should reflect less and being metal will release any heat gained during the day more quickly. That’s just a guess though.
Well my ISS is on the roof as were my console is on the first floor of the house. 6 to 7 meters I suppose, and always was surprised by the good reception of data (till now then)
You assume it will be okay with some adjustments in WD ?
As I understand in english you say: As for me, I have no worries. However, you will need to change the location of your ISS as this will impact the readings.
That’s exactly my fear of what I should have to do. #-o This is the best place for my ISS, no other options here.
The simple answer is no. There’ll be no issue with solar panels and signals to and from your weather station. I’ve had solar panels for 12 years and never had an issue with the ISS signals. Ham radio? Well, that’s a whole other kettle of fish. But no issues at all with the wx station…
