I think this is a proper thread to post this; sorry if not.
I enter the daily snowfall in WD as it occurs but this data does not show up in the clientrawextra.txt
file, at least not where it is inidcated in the description text. Is there a control I need to set that will
cause WD to put the data in the WDL files? If so, could someone point it out to me? Thanks.
hi
just tested a new 10.20i
and its OK
the snow I entered , in inches, is showing up in the clientrawextra.txt (just before the last 7 days rain fall), as cm
When I originally brought up this, I really just wanted the snow fall to have a tag on it for the unit of measurements. If I entered 5 inches of snow in WD, I would like to see “5 inches” on WDL. Now it appears the inches are coverted to cm but still no tag on it for the unit of measurement. And as pointed out, Americans do not use the metric system, and most are unfamiliar with it and would scratch their heads and need a conversion chart to figure out cm to inches of snow fall. So, it would be great if you entered 15 cm of snow that 15 cm would show up in WDL or if you entered 5 inches of snow it would read 5 inches in WDL. Is this possible?
Centimetres is only the unit that will always be used in the clientraw file, so you’ll have the ability to input either units in WD and view either in WDL.
